Quincy University's QUTV Studio is located in Friar's Hall room 004. The space was originally a lounge and then library used by Franciscan Friars, and remodeled in 2009 with assistance from NewStart Inc., Harris Corporation, and the Oakley-Lindsay Foundation.
The studio features a TriCaster Duo digital switcher, two studio cameras with teleprompters, a green screen, and a four-person news desk.
QUTV's studio is utilized for weekly news broadcasts, interviews with on-campus newsmakers and distinguished alumni, and other student projects done on an extra-curricular basis.
For more information, contact Travis Yates, Instructor of Communication and QUTV Executive Producer, at yatestr@quincy.edu.
